Streamlining RD Wallet’s Key People Workflow and Improving Account Opening Efficiency

We are excited to announce an upgrade to the account opening experience on the RD Wallet mobile application. This upgrade simplifies the key people operations during the account application process, improving account opening efficiency and optimizing the user experience. 

 

This upgrade streamlines key people operations such as identity verification, business information confirmation, and mandate confirmation. These steps can now be completed in one go, significantly reducing time and steps needed for business wallet account opening. 

 

Account Opening Process + Key People Connect to Wallet Process 

 

If you need to submit an RD Wallet account opening application on behalf of your business, please refer to the following detailed operation process: 

  1. Download the RD Wallet application and register as an individual user 
  2. Begin the wallet account opening process by tapping "Open Wallet" on the homepage. Fill in the required business information for account opening 
  3. Invite key people from the business to connect to the wallet 
  4. Initiate authorization signing tasks based on the roles of the individuals 
  5. Submit the wallet account opening application 
  6. Complete personal identity verification for the applicant 

 

If you are a key people within the business, please refer to the following detailed operation process: 

Key people within the Business Description: Director of a limited company, ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) with a shareholding of ≥25%, and partner of a partnership       
 

  1. Download the RD Wallet application or access the application on any other mobile device 
  2. Register as an individual user or proceed without registration 
    1. If you plan to continue using this wallet after it is set up, you are recommended to register as an individual user. 
    2. If you are only opening the wallet account to assist the business, registration is not necessary.

Non-registered User 

  • Select "Myself" as the key people to link to the wallet 
  • Enter the invitation code you received 
  • Verify your identity using the personal ID you used for business registration 
  • Confirm the business information 
  • Confirm the mandate (if applicable) 
  • Choose "Assist Others" as a non-registered key people to link to the wallet 
  • Enter your mobile phone number and complete the verification process. 
  • Enter the invitation code you received 
  • Verify your identity using the personal identification document you used for business registration 
  • Confirm the business information
